Following is a list of the current Enhance Hamilton County funds we currently have available to receive charitable donations. This fund supports TNR (trap-neuter-return) programs for community and barn cats.
Hamilton County Childcare Initiative Fund | Give Now
This fund supports childcare needs throughout Hamilton County. Donations are being accepted to support general needs, the Childcare Bonus Program currently being administered by Building Families and overseen by the Hamilton County Childcare Coalition, and the construction of a new Riverview Early Childhood Center (please write Riverview in the memo line or put in the comments if donating online).

Beverly Oppold-Blessman Whaley Scholarship Fund | Give Now
The Beverly Oppold-Blessman Whaley Scholarship Fund has been established to honor the legacy of Beverly Oppold-Blessman Whaley, a respected educator known for her commitment to the students at Webster City High School. Open to all graduating seniors from Webster City High School, this scholarship will be given annually to provide a one-time award of $7,500 to assist each annual recipient in their post-secondary educational pursuits.
Beverly Oppold-Blessman Whaley’s career was marked by her dedication to education and her passion for her students’ success. As a business education teacher/office education coordinator at Webster City High School for 27 years and later as a Consultant for Career and Technical Education with the Area Education Agency (AEA 267). Beverly positively impacted countless lives until her retirement in 2009. Even in retirement, she remained connected with her students, celebrating their achievements and milestones.
Applications for the Beverly Oppold-Blessman Whaley Scholarship will be available through the Webster City High School Guidance Office.
For those who wish to support the Beverly Oppold-Blessman Whaley Scholarship Fund, contributions can be sent to Enhance Hamilton County Foundation at 501 Bank Street, Webster City, IA 50595. Charitable gifts, including stock or IRA rollovers, are accepted, and all donations are tax-deductible, with donors eligible for a 25% Endow Iowa Tax Credit.
Enhance Hamilton County Foundation is managing the fund to ensure Beverly’s legacy lives on through this scholarship, helping to open doors for future Webster City graduates.

This fund provides a scholarship to a South Hamilton graduate attending or graduated from any post-secondary school within one year before/after receiving bachelor’s degree in elementary or secondary education.

This fund provides a $2000 scholarship for a Webster City High School Senior to attend a trade school, community college or 4-year institution of their choice.

This fund supports program and capital needs of emergency services (ambulance, fire and police) that serve Hamilton County. Donations are also being accepted to support the Webster City Police Department K9 program (please write K9 in the memo line or in the comment section if donating online).
