Webster City Rotary Club Donates to Food Pantry Challenge
The Webster City Rotary Club recently made a $350 donation to the Enhance Hamilton County Food Pantry Challenge. Monies donated to the Food Pantry Challenge will be matched dollar-for-dollar up to a total of $12,000 with all donations going to support the six (6) food pantries located throughout Hamilton County. Since the middle of June, the Food Pantry Challenge has resulted in $10,580 being distributed to support area food pantries.
The EHCF received a donation of $10,000 by an anonymous donor to benefit the food pantries throughout Hamilton County. The donor indicated they would like to issue a challenge to the residents of the county to match their donation by the end of October 2020. As a result, the Foundation Board decided to add $2,000 to the donation and make the challenge to raise an additional $12,000 by the end of October.
