The Enhance Hamilton County Foundation will hold its first Community Roundtable program in 2023 on Thursday, June 1, 2023, at the West Twin Parks Shelter hosted by the Webster City Parks and Recreation Department. The roundtable event gives nonprofits and causes around Hamilton County an opportunity to share about their organizations and to connect and collaborate with others.

“We were thrilled with the response to our Community Roundtables in 2022 and our board of directors wanted to make this an ongoing event going forward,” said Darcy Swon, Development Director of the Enhance Hamilton County Foundation. “The sole purpose of this roundtable is to give our nonprofits and causes a platform to share their stories. We encourage businesses and individuals to join us as well so they can learn more about how they can provide support to these groups whether it is financially or through volunteering. It is also a great opportunity to learn about what is going on throughout Hamilton County.”

Future Community Roundtables in 2023 have been set for August 3 and October 5  with locations and hosts to be announced. Meeting information will be shared on the EHCF’s website and Facebook page in addition to a press release being shared with local media regarding the meeting details.

Hosts are needed for the August and October events and are responsible for providing the location and will have up to 10 minutes to share about their organizations. Nonprofits/causes will have five (5) minutes on the agenda to provide information regarding their organizations. Space is limited; organizations are encouraged to reserve their spots early.
