The Enhance Hamilton County Foundation has announced that they awarded out $26,727.55 in Hamilton County SEED Catalyst Fund grants for first quarter 2024 to the following recipients:
Melanie Reisinger (Ellsworth) – daycare startup – $1,438.79
Stanhope Housing (Stanhope) – roofing – $5,882.76
Stanhope Library (Jewell) – shelving – $5,500
Trackside Welding (Jewell) – Concrete approach – $6,116
Stratford KC Country Store (Stratford) – equipment upgrades – $7,790
This grant is awarded to businesses/organizations that are looking to create an impact through economic development and/or community betterment in the communities of Ellsworth, Jewell, Stanhope, and Stratford. The maximum amount that can be awarded for each grant is $12,000 or 40% of the project total, whichever is less.
A grant review committee consisting of representatives from the four communities and the county reviews the applications and makes their recommendation to the EHCF Board for the distribution of funds.
Applications are awarded quarterly and due at the end of each quarter to be considered for that quarter’s grants. The next grant deadline is June 30, 2024, and could be the last grants awarded to due to funding. This grant program is separate from the Enhance Hamilton County Annual Grant Program.
