Enhance Hamilton County Foundation announces grant information meeting

The Enhance Hamilton County Foundation has announced that their 2022 Grant Cycle will begin on October 7, 2021, with a mandatory information ZOOM meeting for any organization that is considering submitting an application. At least one representative must attend the informational meeting. To register, visit the Enhance Hamilton County Foundation’s website or Facebook page.

The meeting will provide information on the grant process to new applicants and outline the changes that will be implemented in the 2022 grant cycle. In addition, the meeting will provide a forum for potential applicants to ask questions to assist them with completion of their applications.

Grant applications will be available online starting October 20, 2021. Completed applications will be accepted up until 5 pm on December 31, 2021, to be eligible for review and consideration. Monies will be awarded in late February 2022.

“The purpose of the Enhance Hamilton County grant program is to provide financial support for projects that address needs throughout Hamilton County as well as those projects that are considered community betterment,” said Darcy Swon, Enhance Hamilton County Foundation Development Director.

Swon reminds potential applicants if they are not a 501c3, a civic organization, church, school or a city or county entity, they will need to partner with one to be eligible to receive grant funds.

Since the Foundation was established in 2005, over $1.4 million has been awarded to assist organizations with completion of worthwhile projects in the following areas: Arts & Culture, Community Betterment, Education, Health & Human Services, Recreation & Environment and Youth Development.

Enhance Hamilton County Foundation is a non-profit organization that serves as a liaison and resource for donor-driven charitable giving and community needs.
