SEED Catalyst Grant
The purpose of this grant is for community betterment or economic development in the communities of Ellsworth, Jewell, Stanhope and Stratford.
To be eligible for grant funding, the organization must be:
- Tax exempt, non-profit entities classified by the IRS as a 501c3 or a 170c1 governmental entity, civic organization, church or school.
- If not a 501c3, the organization must secure a fiscal sponsor.
- Fiscal sponsors can support more than one grant application project at a time and submit their own grant application.
- Only one application per submitting organization is allowed at a time.
If you require a Fiscal Sponsor, download and complete the Fiscal Sponsorship Agreement. You will need to upload it when you complete the grant application.
Grant requests must not exceed $12,000 or 40% of the project total cost.
Grant applications are due on or before 5 PM on the last day of each quarter to be considered for that grant cycle’s review and award. Grant application deadlines for 2023 are:
- March 31
- June 31
- September 30
- December 31
Grants will be awarded for projects the can be completed within 12 months. Projects requiring more time should indicate the need for additional time in the grant application.
Grant applications are to be completed and submitted online.
