Envision Stanhope is recipient of latest Hamilton County SEED Catalyst Grant

The Enhance Hamilton County Foundation (EHCF) is proud to announce the recent award of a Hamilton County SEED Catalyst Grant in the amount of $11,075.68 to Envision Stanhope. This grant will support the final phase of the Stanhope Depot and Museum project, making critical enhancements to the building.

The SEED Catalyst Grant program is designed to assist businesses and organizations in Ellsworth, Jewell, Stanhope, and Stratford as they contribute to economic development and community betterment. Grants are awarded quarterly, with a maximum amount of $12,000 or 40% of the project total, whichever is less.

Envision Stanhope’s project includes making the Stanhope Depot and Museum ADA accessible, installing new HVAC systems, electrical upgrades, insulation, and finalizing the approach to the building. These improvements will ensure that the museum remains an accessible and welcoming space.

A grant review committee, comprised of representatives from the four communities and the county, carefully reviewed applications and recommended the award to the EHCF Board for fund distribution. The next grant deadline is March 31, 2024. Please note that this grant program is separate from the Enhance Hamilton County Annual Grant Program.
